Hearts of Oak have officially confirmed the exit of head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and his technical staff following the end of the 2025/26 football season.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, May 26, the Phobians explained that the decision followed an extensive technical assessment conducted by the club’s board.
“Hearts of Oak SC wishes to announce that, following a comprehensive technical review of the 2025/26 football season, the Board has decided to part ways with the Technical Team led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani,” the statement said.
The club also thanked Dramani and his backroom team for their dedication, professionalism, and contributions during their tenure.
With Dramani at the helm, Hearts of Oak clinched third place in the Ghana Premier League, falling just short of both the championship and a coveted continental ticket.
The former Asante Kotoko coach was appointed on a two-year contract in June 2025 as part of the club’s rebuilding agenda.
Despite visible progress over the season, the club’s management has resolved to embark on a new technical path as the next campaign approaches.
The statement further indicated that the players and technical staff are currently on break while the board finalizes plans regarding the club’s future technical setup.
“The Board will, in due course, communicate the technical direction of the club as we continue to align our football philosophy with the long-term ambitions and identity of Accra Hearts of Oak SC,” the club stated.
Dramani, once an assistant with Ghana’s national team and a respected CAF instructor, departs Hearts after just one season in charge.
