Former Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani is reportedly on the verge of being named the new head coach of newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Port City FC.
Didi Dramani was officially relieved of his duties as technical head of the Phobians on Tuesday, May 26.
In a statement released by the club, Hearts of Oak explained that the decision followed a detailed technical assessment conducted by the board.
“Hearts of Oak SC wishes to announce that, following a comprehensive technical review of the 2025/26 football season, the Board has decided to part ways with the Technical Team led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani,” the statement said.
The club also thanked Dramani and his technical staff for their professionalism, dedication, and contributions during their spell with the team.
Guided by Dramani, Hearts of Oak battled their way to a hard-fought third-place finish, coming agonizingly close to both the league crown and a coveted continental spot.
The ex-Asante Kotoko tactician arrived at Hearts in June 2025 on a two-year deal, stepping into the club’s ambitious rebuilding journey.
Despite clear strides made over the season, Hearts’ management has opted to chart a new technical course as the next campaign approaches.
Fresh reports hint that Dramani is on the brink of joining Port City FC, as the rising club seeks to bolster its technical ranks ahead of its debut in Ghana’s top flight.
