Aduana FC has officially named experienced Ghanaian coach Samuel Boadu as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Dormaa-based club confirmed the appointment on Friday, bringing an end to weeks of speculation regarding the future destination of the former Hearts of Oak and Berekum Chelsea manager.
Boadu joins the Ogya Boys after the expiration of his contract with Berekum Chelsea, where he oversaw the club during the latter half of the 2025/26 season.
His final game in charge of the Bibires ended in a 2-1 defeat to newly crowned Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC.
The highly respected tactician succeeds Cioba Aristica as Aduana looks to strengthen its squad and mount a serious challenge for domestic honors next season.
Boadu arrives with an impressive track record in Ghanaian football, having established himself as one of the country’s most successful coaches in recent years.
His most notable achievements came during his tenure at Hearts of Oak, where he guided the Phobians to a historic Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup double in 2021. He later added another FA Cup title before departing the club in October 2022.
Aduana endured an inconsistent 2025/26 campaign, finishing ninth in the league table after recording 14 victories, 10 draws, and 10 defeats across 34 matches.
Club officials will be hoping Boadu’s proven winning mentality, attacking approach, and extensive top-flight experience can help restore Aduana’s status as genuine contenders for major trophies.
His appointment also sees him become only the second coach with a Ghana Premier League title to take charge of Aduana FC, following in the footsteps of Paa Kwesi Fabian.
Boadu is expected to begin work immediately as preparations intensify for the new season, with supporters optimistic that his arrival could mark the beginning of a successful new chapter for the club.
