Complete list of nations that have earned a spot at AFCON 2025

Tanzania beat Guinea to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, while Botswana and Mozambique secured the final two spots.
Guinea had to avoid a loss in Dar Es Salaam to secure second place in Group H, while Tanzania’s victory would guarantee their spot in Morocco.

Having been the lowest seeds in their group at the 2012 Afcon finals, Southern Africans suffered defeat in all three group games, marking their only participation in the tournament.
Much like Guinea, Mozambique only required a point from their encounter with Guinea-Bissau to advance in Group I, while the West Africans needed to win the match.

Stanley Ratifo’s 52nd-minute strike helped the Mambas regain the advantage, and Mozambique held on to secure consecutive qualifications.
The biggest sporting event in Africa will start on December 21st, 2025, and end on January 18th, 2026.
The Confederation of African Football has not yet announced the date of the group draw for the finals.
