Liverpool have declined offers for Japan midfielder Wataru Endo and Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg.
The French club Marseille made a bid of £11.8m for Endo.
Last August, the 31-year-old player signed a four-year contract with Liverpool, joining from Stuttgart for approximately £16.2m.
With 43 appearances, including 20 starts in the Premier League, he had a successful debut season at Anfield, winning the League Cup.
Marseille is under the management of Roberto de Zerbi, who previously encountered Endo as the coach of Brighton.
Other German clubs have also shown interest in the defensive midfielder, and the Reds know it.
Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven made an offer for Van den Berg, aged 22.
The center-back’s value, believed to be around £8.4m (10m euros), is far below the Anfield club’s estimated worth of £20m.
Van den Berg is currently part of the Reds squad on their pre-season tour in the United States and played in the club’s victory against Real Betis.
He transferred to Liverpool from PEC Zwolle in June 2019 and has been loaned out to Preston, Schalke 04, and Mainz.
Mainz had Van den Berg on their team last season, where he played in 33 league matches and scored three goals to help them maintain their Bundesliga status.
The German club desired his return, but they couldn’t reach an agreement due to differing player valuations.
Liverpool has yet to make any signings this summer since Arne Slot became the manager.
