Spurs part ways with Igor Tudor after only seven games

Tottenham Hotspur has let Igor Tudor go after only seven matches and 44 days as manager.

Tudor, who previously coached Juventus and Olympique de Marseille, took over from Thomas Frank on February 13. However, he could not improve the team’s results, and Spurs stayed just one point above the Premier League relegation zone.

In five league games, Tudor earned just one point with a draw against Liverpool. He also saw the team knocked out of the UEFA Champions League after losing 7-5 on aggregate to Atlético Madrid.

Tottenham announced Tudor’s departure in a statement, saying it was a mutual decision. The club thanked Tudor and his staff for their work and offered support after a recent bereavement.
