Asante Kotoko has confirmed the return of David Obeng Nyarko, appointing him as the club’s new Brand and Partnerships Manager.
The Porcupine Warriors announced Nyarko’s appointment on their official social media channels and welcomed him back to the club.
“Akwaaba, David Obeng Nyarko! Welcome back to the Asante Kotoko family! We are delighted to have you rejoin the club as the Brand and Partnerships Manager,” the club said in a statement.
Nyarko previously served as the club’s Communications Director. In announcing his return, Kotoko reaffirmed their commitment to preserving the club’s heritage while pursuing growth and excellence across all operations.
In his new role, Nyarko will oversee branding, marketing, and commercial partnerships, focusing on strengthening Kotoko’s corporate profile and expanding its commercial reach.
This appointment supports the club’s ongoing efforts to enhance off-field operations following a mixed 2025/26 campaign. Although Kotoko finished eighth in the Ghana Premier League, the club remains optimistic that strengthening its commercial structure will contribute to greater on-field success.
Under board chairman Kwasi Appiah, Asante Kotoko have increased their focus on developing strategic partnerships and creating new revenue streams.
Nyarko’s return is expected to support this vision as the club aims to strengthen existing relationships and attract new commercial opportunities ahead of the 2026/27 season.
