Medeama SC and head coach Nebojsa Kapor mutually agreed to part ways after his one-year contract ended.
The Bosnian coach, hired by the Mauve and Yellows in December 2023, is departing due to a contract renewal impasse.
Coach Kapor, at 38, significantly improved Medeama SC’s performance, especially in the Ghana Premier League, during his time there.
His leadership spurred a major shift in the team’s tactics, producing competitive results and impressive victories all season long.
Medeama’s status as a top-tier Ghanaian football club is largely due to Kapor’s significant contributions.
A statement from Medeama expressed appreciation to the former coach for his year of dedication and effort.
The club praised his positive contributions and wished him well in the future.
As the club plans for the future, it named Augustine Evans Adotey interim technical director.
As the club prepares for future domestic and continental competitions, they are committed to continuing the progress made under Kapor’s leadership.
