Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup Unveilled

The CEO of the National Youth Authority, Osman Ayariga, applauded Samuel Anim Addo’s efforts in youth development and peace promotion via sports in the Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup.
He said Mr. Anim Addo has been an astute sports administrator in the country’s sports development and urged other stakeholders to emulate him.
Ayariga also asked private businesses to follow Addo’s lead at the meeting with the organizers of the cup. He encouraged them to invest in projects that promote social harmony and help young people.
Accra Hearts of Oak and Kpando Heart of Lions, both Premier League teams, will compete in the 2025 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup on August 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium. 
This event, authorized by the GFA, is crucial to the Homowo Festival and aims to promote peace ahead of Ghana’s 2024 elections.

Ayariga showed appreciation to Nii Ayi-Bonte II for his consistent support. He noted that the match aligns with the NYA’s goal of nurturing young talent and promoting unity.
Samuel Anim Addo highlighted the Homowo Peace Cup’s impact on promoting peace.
“The Homowo Cup has brought peace to Odododiodoo, ensuring no violence, as Addo stated,” he mentioned.” 
“This match brings people together, celebrates our culture, and sets a positive tone for the community, especially ahead of the elections.”
