Otto Addo: “We will have to be disciplined not to concede goals against Sudan in the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers”

Ghana coach Otto Addo emphasized the need for discipline and caution to prevent conceding against Sudan.

The Falcons and the Black Stars will face off in a doubleheader during the AFCON qualifiers 2025.

With two games played, Ghana has given up two goals and scored only once.

Addo assures his team will be coached to play effectively and keep goals out in the upcoming games against Kwesi Appiah.

“We have to be disciplined and cautious against Sudan not to concede,” the 45-year-old said.

“The players understand the situation, but as a coach, I will have to teach them to play well and not to concede because we know how dangerous they can be,” he added.

The Falcons will face the Black Stars on October 10 at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the return leg taking place in Benina, Libya on October 15.

After losing 1-0 to Angola and drawing 1-1 with Niger, the Black Stars will try to win against Sudan to improve their chances of qualifying.

In the meantime, the Black Stars will begin camp in Accra on Monday.
