Bayern Munich has secured the Bundesliga title for the 13th time in the last 14 seasons after a 4-2 victory over VfB Stuttgart on Sunday.
Borussia Dortmund’s 2-1 loss to Hoffenheim on Saturday gave Bayern the chance to clinch the title. Vincent Kompany’s team then needed only a draw to secure the championship.

Bayern fell behind early at the Allianz Arena but came back with goals from Raphael Guerreiro, Nicolas Jackson, Alphonso Davies, and Harry Kane. Stuttgart scored a late consolation goal.
With this result, Bayern are now 15 points ahead of Dortmund. They have scored 109 goals, 40 more than any other team, and conceded just 28, the best defense in the league. This goal tally beats their previous record of 101 goals from the 1971–72 season.
This win gives Bayern their 35th German title, making them the country’s most successful club. They are now 26 titles ahead of 1. FC Nürnberg.
Kompany’s team is also still competing in Europe. They have reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, where they will play Paris Saint-Germain after knocking out Real Madrid. They will also face Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal semi-finals.
Kompany has now won the Bundesliga in his first season with Bayern. He previously led Burnley to the Championship title in 2022–23.
