The Ministry for Sports and Recreation has commended the GFA for Sports and Recreation for their professionalism and teamwork; the Black Stars’ budget for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers is awaiting final presidential approval.

The GFA submitted the budget estimates for the October 8 Central African Republic away game and the October 12 Comoros home match, which included travel, accommodation, training, allowances, bonuses, and other logistical needs, on September 18, totaling $1.12 million.
To advance in the qualifiers, Ghana needs four points, emphasizing the importance of budget approval to ensure proper preparations.
