Otto Addo announces the squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Mali and Chad

The Black Stars’ coach, Otto Addo, has selected a 24-man team for the next World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, Gideon Mensah, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams are all on the list.
Derrick Arthur Köhn, a Union Berlin left-back, is called up for the first time after a great season.
After a good loan at Werder Bremen, the 26-year-old went from Galatasaray to Union Berlin.
Sulemana, who went from Southampton to Atalanta, is included after a strong start. Midfielder Elisha Owusu, from France, is back in the squad following his recovery from a long-term injury.
Caleb Yirenkyi, following a strong showing at the Unity Cup, is rewarded by FC Nordsjælland.
Tariq Lamptey is back in the team, and Christopher Bonsu Baah and Joseph Anang are ready for the two matches.
With five wins and one loss in six matches, Ghana is currently at the top of Group I in the African Qualifiers with 15 points.
The Black Stars will play Chad at Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on Thursday, September 4, and then host Mali at Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, 2025.
