Didi Dramani’s first training session as Hearts of Oak head coach

Hearts of Oak’s newly appointed manager, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, officially started, leading his first training session for the Phobians.
Dramani’s appointment as Hearts of Oak’s head coach, effective June 20, 2025, concluded Ouattara’s tenure; the contract is for a two-year term.
They tasked Dramani with turning things around after Ouattara’s coaching yielded mixed results (14th place and a top-four finish), with the Phobians needing a championship push.
Following Samuel Boadu’s 2021 triumph, the Phobians are yet to secure another Ghana Premier League title. Dramani’s first training session, marking the start of his tenure, took place at Kpobiman on Monday.
The veteran coach and former Black Meteors manager will assemble a strong support team to ensure his success.
Hearts of Oak is considering Abdulai Gazale and Parker Hanson for assistant coaching positions. Gazale previously coached Basake Holy Stars, and Hanson coached Golden Kick.
Dramani’s initial test as coach of Hearts of Oak is the President’s Cup final against his ex-team, Asante Kotoko.
