Burnley is discussing filling their managerial position with former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Clarets were relegated to the Championship last season. Their boss, Vincent Kompany, left to join Bayern Munich in May.
Reports suggest that Van Nistelrooy, Lampard, and Parker have been in talks with the Turf Moor side, where Bellamy is currently the acting head coach.
Dutch reports indicate that Van Nistelrooy, 47, is close to finalizing a multi-year contract. Still, the club’s decision will not be disclosed this week.
Van Nistelrooy, with a successful track record, held his sole previous senior management position with PSV Eindhoven, where he achieved a second-place finish in the Eredivisie and won the KNVB Cup in 2022-23, instilling excitement and hope for Burnley fans.
Van Nistelrooy joined the Red Devils from PSV in 2001 and scored 95 goals in 150 Premier League games before joining Real Madrid in 2006.
