CAF has released the official squads for the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, including Ghana’s Black Satellites.
Ghana’s team includes players from Ghana and abroad, such as Aziz Issah (Barcelona B), Arafat Mohammed (FC Nordsjælland), Andrews Adjabeng (Real Sociedad C), and Aaron Essel (North Texas SC).
The list also features Aziz Musibau (forward), Kelvin Ahiable (midfielder), and Gidios Aseako (goalkeeper) of Dreams FC.
Maxwell Azafokpe (Tudu Mighty Jets), Ishmael Addo (Heart of Lions), Hayford Boahen (Cheetah FC), and Kelvin Nkrumah (Medeama SC) are also worth mentioning.
Congo will face the Black Satellites in Suez this Friday, May 2, to start their campaign.
Egypt is hosting the 18th TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, a three-week tournament featuring Africa’s most promising young footballers.
The prestigious tournament from April 27 to May 18, 2025, will crown Africa’s U-20 champions and send four teams to Chile’s FIFA U-20 World Cup.
CAF has divided thirteen teams into three groups: Group A (five teams) and Groups B and C (four teams each).
Two group winners and two runners-up, joined by the two best third-place teams, advance to the knockout-stage quarter-finals.
