World cup 2026: Ghanaians must pay over GHS 13,000 for group matches

FIFA has revealed ticket prices for all matches, giving fans a clear idea of the cost to see Ghana’s group-stage games at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana will face Panama, England, and Croatia in Toronto, Boston, and Philadelphia, respectively, with prices differing across three categories.

The opening match in Toronto on June 17 against Panama has these ticket prices: Category 1 costs $450 (GHS 5,145), Category 2 costs $380 (GHS 4,345), and Category 3 costs $140 (GHS 1,600). Easy access standard tickets cost $450 and offer extra accessibility support.

The most expensive tickets are for the England match in Boston on June 23. Category 1 tickets are $600 (GHS 6,860), Category 2 are $430 (GHS 4,916), and Category 3 are $220 (GHS 2,515). The England game should draw a huge crowd of Ghanaian fans on the U.S. East Coast.

Tickets for the final group game versus Croatia on June 27 in Philadelphia cost $500 (GHS 5,717) for Category 1, $400 (GHS 4,573) for Category 2, and $180 (GHS 2,058) for Category 3. Easy access standard tickets match the Category 1 price at $500.

The cedi values are based on the Bank of Ghana’s exchange rate as of December 11, 2025.

Ghanaian fans are urged to buy tickets now, as the tournament approaches.

Ghana will play Panama, then England and Croatia, hoping to reach the expanded Round of 32 in 2026.
