Nsoatreman FC has moved on to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup, winning 5-0 overall against Elect Sport.
Following their commanding 3-0 victory in the first leg last Sunday, Nsoatreman sealed a 2-0 win in the second leg on Saturday.
Due to Elect Sport’s home ground not meeting CAF standards, the match was held in a neutral venue in Cameroon. Nsoatreman exhibited their strength and professionalism, easily prevailing over their opponents from Chad.
Nsoatreman will now wait for the outcome of the tie between Constantine and Rwanda’s Police FC. Constantine has a 2-0 lead from the first leg, and the second leg will take place on Sunday.
The Ghanaian FA Cup champions are determined to reach the group stage of the Confederation Cup in their debut season and plan to capitalize on their impressive form in the final qualifying round.
