The Ghana FA’s Disciplinary Committee has fined Asante Kotoko SC GHS 10,000 and warned them for misconduct during their Ghana Premier League match versus Medeama SC.
The decision concerns the league fixture played in November 2025 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, in which Kotoko scored two late goals to secure a draw.
According to the GFA, Kotoko were found guilty of failing to ensure the safety of match officials. The club was also cited for allowing supporters to threaten and attack officials and for permitting unauthorised persons access to restricted areas, including the tunnel.
The fine must be paid within 14 days of formal notification of the ruling.
