James Osei Brown, the new Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko SC, met with the club’s technical team and players for the first time. He assured them of his full support on and off the pitch.
He was introduced to the squad during a training session at Adako Jachie on Wednesday, March 18. Interim Management Committee Chairman Nana Apinkrah Akwasi Awuah made the formal presentation.
Osei Brown spoke to the team, repeating his commitment to support them. He encouraged the players to stay focused and determined as they prepare for their next league match against Nations FC.
The visit shows the new board wants to build a stronger connection with the players as Kotoko works to improve their performance in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko now turns its focus to Sunday’s Matchday 26 game against Nations FC at the Baba Yara Stadium. They hope to recover from recent inconsistent results.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently in fifth place with 39 points.
Osei Brown will work with Kwasi Osei Ofori and Kofi Amoa-Abban, who are also on the club’s board.
