GFA fines Medeama SC GHC 10,000 for kit violation

Medeama Sporting Club received a GHC 10,000 fine and a warning from the GFA Disciplinary Committee for misconduct during the 2025/2026 Ghana Premier League.

Under GFA regulations, the Tarkwa club was found guilty after the Young Apostles match.

The committee found that Medeama did not ensure their players’ jerseys displayed names above numbers, as required by league rules.

A financial penalty, a warning, and the GFA’s call for strict compliance with competition rules followed the breach.

The decision requires Medeama SC to pay the fine within fourteen days of notification.

This sanction reminds all Ghana Premier League clubs to adhere to matchday rules to avoid discipline.
