Antoine Semenyo urges Manchester City colleagues to keep winning to win the EPL

Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has urged his Manchester City teammates to focus on winning their remaining matches in the 2025/26 English Premier League to maintain their title hopes.

The versatile forward signed for the Citizens in the January transfer window in a move from AFC Bournemouth and is currently playing a key role for the side.

On Saturday, Semenyo scored the decisive goal for Manchester City in a closely contested match against Leeds United at Elland Road.

In a post-match interview following the Week 28 fixture, Semenyo described his goal as one of the most important of his career and encouraged his teammates to aim for victory in all remaining matches.

HeHe believes this approach gives the team the best chance to win the league title.”Definitely [his most important goal for City ]. Every game is important, happy for the win but still a lot of games to go so we just need to keep going. All we can do is win our games,” the Black Stars forward said.

Antoine Semenyo continued, “It’s a lot you dream of playing at this level. It’s obviously tough, but I’m embracing it.

“It’s pretty different, I’m usually just a wide man, but I’m adapting – and I’m just doing whatever I can for the team.”

Following his goal against Leeds United, Semenyo has recorded 14 goals and four assists in 27 Premier League appearances this season.

Meanwhile, Manchester City remains two points behind Arsenal at the top of the Premier League standings.
