Kotoko’s six-goal thumping puts Porcupine Warriors on top of league

Asante Kotoko concluded the year memorably, overpowering Bechem United 6-0 at Baba Yara Stadium, which put the Porcupine Warriors at the top of the Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko’s dominance was clear, as they achieved a major victory and highlighted their increased self-assurance under Karim Zito. The home team took charge immediately and never relented, challenging Bechem’s defence with speed, agility, and precise finishing.

In the ninth minute, Morrison Donzo scored, and Samba O’Neil scored again in the first half. Hubert Gyau scored a third goal shortly after the second half began, and Kotoko remained dominant. Owusu scored the fourth goal at the hour mark, as Bechem couldn’t handle the persistent pressure.

The home side capped a perfect afternoon with Johnson Owusu Kwame Opoku’s goal, finishing the emphatic scoreline.
