Major League Soccer has fined Caleb Porter, head coach of the New England Revolution, $20,000 and suspended him for one match due to his comments on officiating.
These comments are in violation of the league’s public criticism policy.
The Revolution are 12th out of 15 teams in the Eastern Conference in Porter’s first season along the sidelines.
The MLS said Porter’s comments were in violation of the league’s public criticism policy. Porter will serve his suspension on Saturday against Orlando City SC.
