Prince Yaw Owusu named Asante Kotoko assistant coach as part of technical restructuring.

To revitalize the Porcupine Warriors, Asante Kotoko appointed Prince Yaw Owusu as assistant coach as part of a larger technical overhaul.
With over 20 years of experience, Coach Owusu’s expertise makes him perfect for this role.
His impressive coaching career includes head coaching positions at Medeama SC, Inter Allies, and Khartoum National Club, spanning Ghana, Sudan, and the United States.
It’s worth noting that Owusu has coached Ghana’s U-17 team (assistant) and U-20 team (Black Satellites, head coach).
Besides coaching, Owusu is also well-regarded for his player development. He’s helped many talented players reach top European clubs like AC Milan, Genoa, Sassuolo, and Fiorentina.
The club appointed Owusu as part of a plan to bolster its technical staff and secure consistent success in domestic and international competitions.
On the restructured technical team, Owusu will work closely with Abdul Karim Zito, the interim head coach and newly appointed Technical Director.
Kotoko and Prosper Ogum separated on Monday after two consecutive losses in the Ghana Premier League. With the new appointments, Kotoko is confident of a renewed push for a domestic double. Sitting fourth in the league, Kotoko has made it to the FA Cup semifinals.
