Asante Kotoko Communications Director, Sarfo Duku, thinks they can defeat Wydad Athletic Club. 
The Ghanaian club will play against the Moroccan counterpart in the next round of matches.
Kotoko advanced to the second round, beating Kwara United 5-3 on aggregate.
After the team’s arrival in Ghana, Sarfo Duku said Kotoko remains optimistic and isn’t afraid of Wydad.
“We have history against Wydad Athletic Club,” he told Asempa FM.
“We have played against them twice, and we were just unlucky, and for me, this year is a revival for Asante Kotoko, and I am confident we can overcome WAC,” he added.
The two-legged tie will take place on October 17th and 19th, concluding on October 24th and 26th.
Asante Kotoko will now focus on the Ghana Premier League, hosting Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium for Matchday 4.
