Benjamin Asare will use his errors as a learning tool – Henry Asante Twum

Henry Asante Twum, the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) director of communications, thinks Benjamin Asare will grow from his errors.

The Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, who is also the Black Stars’ first-choice, is facing criticism for his recent inconsistent play in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.

Yet, Asante Twum advised Hearts of Oak fans, speaking to 3Sports, to remain calm about goalkeeper Benjamin Asare’s recent errors against Holy Stars.

Twum believes Asare will learn from the mistake and improve.

“I think Benjamin will learn from his mistakes. I don’t think it is time for Hearts of Oak fans to panic,” he said.

“These things happen. All the top goalkeepers in the world make mistakes.”

Twum expressed confidence in Asare’s ability to bounce back.

“I think he has the skill to return to his former level.”

Benjamin Asare has five clean sheets for the Phobians so far. It’s anticipated that he will play in the team as they welcome Asante Kotoko in the Matchday 9 games this weekend.
