Manchester City have signed Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Sports Tribune reports City’s initial payment was £59m (€70m), plus an additional £4.2m (€5m) in potential bonuses.
Egypt’s national team player has signed a 4.5-year contract with the club after scoring a remarkable 15 goals in 17 games for his previous Bundesliga team. This makes him City’s third January signing, following Reis and Khusanov.
Marmoush arrived only 18 months after his free transfer from Wolfsburg to Frankfurt in July 2023.
“I’m so happy to be here,” he said. “Manchester City is one of the biggest clubs in the world over the past 10 years, so it was not a question.
“It is an honor the club showed an interest in me, and now I’m here. The last two seasons have been great, but it is just the beginning for me.”
