Joselle Mensah radiates joy after earning her spot in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, qualifying alongside Harry Stacey.
At the 2023 African Games in Ghana, she became Ghana’s highest-ranked female swimmer in the women’s 50m freestyle event, clocking an impressive time of 26.52 seconds, according to World Aquatics.
After graduating from Lindenwood University in Missouri, USA, Joselle, who is of Ghanaian descent and was born in Germany, achieved her academic goals.
She demonstrated her talent and determination by representing her institution in the Summit League Championships and other collegiate competitions. She left a lasting impression at the German National Age-Group Championships.
She will be representing Ghana for the second time at the Paris Games after her impressive performance at the African Games in March. Although she narrowly missed out on a medal, she finished fourth in the Women’s 50-meter freestyle event.
As she sets her sights on Olympic glory, the young sensation’s impressive journey continues.
