Ghanaian sprinter Joseph Paul Amoah began his 2026 Commonwealth Games campaign with a win in Heat 1 of the men’s 200 meters in Glasgow.
Amoah finished first with a time of 20.36 seconds in a close race. Jamaica’s Christopher Taylor recorded the same time but was placed second according to the official result.
