To get ready for the new season, the Accra Lions U19 team will go on a three-week tour of Germany and Sweden starting July 9.
The tour will start in Germany, where the team will visit their partner club, Eintracht Frankfurt.
Since forming their partnership in April 2025, the two clubs have built a strong relationship focused on sharing knowledge. Eintracht Frankfurt has often sent technical and medical experts to Accra, helping Accra Lions improve their sports and medical departments.
During this visit, the U19 team and coaches will take part in advanced training, performance reviews, and friendly matches, which will also help strengthen the bond between the two clubs.
One of the main highlights in Germany will be friendly games against Eintracht Frankfurt’s U19 and U21 teams.
After spending over two weeks in Germany, the team will head to Sweden to play more friendly matches against well-known clubs like IFK Norrköping and IK Sirius.
This European tour is an important part of Accra Lions’ plans for the new Division One League season. It also gives the young players valuable international experience and a chance to grow faster.
