Antoine Semenyo scored his 16th Premier League goal of the season as Manchester City cruised to victory over Crystal Palace, reducing Arsenal FC’s lead at the top of the table to two points.
Locked in a tight title race with Arsenal, City knew victory was essential against Palace on Wednesday night.
Semenyo opened the scoring in the 32nd minute after brilliantly converting a clever backheel assist from Phil Foden.
Foden, making a rare start this season, later provided another assist for Omar Marmoush, who doubled City’s advantage shortly before halftime.
After the break, Savinho added a third goal to complete an emphatic 3-0 win for the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, Semenyo could cap off the campaign with another domestic trophy when City face Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final on Sunday.
The 26-year-old is enjoying the finest season of his Premier League career, having now registered 20 goal contributions across all competitions during the 2025/26 campaign.
