2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 10 Match Report: Asante Kotoko and Aduana FC share honors

Asante Kotoko fought back to earn a 1-1 draw against Aduana FC on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium and remain the only unbeaten team in the Ghana Premier League.

Emmanuel Marfo put Aduana ahead in the 6th minute, capitalizing on a rebound after Dari Aziz’s initial save. The Porcupine Warriors had to depend on their backup when Mohammed Camara, the first-choice goalkeeper, was away representing Guinea internationally, and Aduana capitalized on the early opportunity.

As the match progressed, Kotoko improved and scored a high-quality goal. A sensational goal by Lord Amoah, which flew into the net, sparked loud celebrations and changed the game in favor of the home team.

After the restart, both teams went for the win, creating chances, but neither could score to earn all the points.

Kotoko’s unbeaten streak continues, positioning them sixth with two games pending. Aduana fell from first to third despite extending their unbeaten run to six games after a draw in Kumasi.

Kotoko, after two draws in a row, will seek a win against Young Apostles during the week.
