We are still in the title race – Interim Kotoko coach Karim Zito declares

Karim Zito, Asante Kotoko’s interim coach, vows to continue the fight for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.
The Porcupine Warriors are in fourth place in the league, having earned 47 points in 28 matches.
Because of subpar performance, Prosper Narteh Ogum was fired, and Zito, now charged with securing the Premier League title, was appointed.
“Six matches, 18 points can change a lot,” Zito said during his unveiling.
“So it’s not over until it’s over. I know we will play against those at the top. So we will fight until the end.”
Zito’s initial dugout experience is a Premier League home game versus Aduana FC at Baba Yara Stadium.
The veteran trainer’s recent successes include guiding Dreams FC to the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals and leading Ghana’s U-20s to the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations title.
Karim Zito is targeting an immediate impact in Kotoko’s Matchday 29 game versus Aduana FC at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
