Feyenoord fired Brian Priske eight months after he took over from Arne Slot.
Last season, Slot left Feyenoord after achieving second place in the Eredivisie and winning the KNVB Cup; Priske’s appointment followed in June.
Feyenoord’s technical director, Dennis te Kloese, confirmed the disappointing departure, stating that the decision was difficult for everyone involved. The club is currently fifth after 21 matches.
While impressive, Feyenoord’s Champions League success under Brian is overshadowed by recent inconsistency and insufficient structural development.
