Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp is optimistic about Celtic and Bayern Munich’s UEFA Champions League playoff.
The Ghanaian international’s debut with the Scottish giants came Wednesday evening during a large victory against Dundee United.
Celtic have signed Schlupp on loan from Crystal Palace until the end of the season.
Following Celtic’s playoff qualification for the restructured UEFA Champions League, the veteran midfielder is keen to rejoin the competition.
“I’ve watched the other Champions League games, and the boys have performed so well,” he said.
“Drawing Bayern Munich excites our fans and everyone at the club, but we’ll still aim for a win.”
“While enjoying the experience, winning and making the playoffs is our main goal”.
“The manager’s former players consistently describe him as a fantastic coach and person who rewards hard work.”
“That’s my plan, then. I want to show my appreciation for his belief in me by performing well and helping the team accomplish great things”.
