Ghana’s Black Queens will face Morocco in a friendly this month to prepare for the 2024 WAFCON.
The new head coach, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, will lead Ghana in their match against Morocco at Casablanca’s Pere Jego Stadium this Friday, February 21st.
This is one of two warm-up matches scheduled for the senior women’s national team during the February 2025 international window.
Bjorkegren took over as head coach from Nora Häuptle in January. His top priority is guiding the Black Queens to victory in the 2024 WAFCON tournament, which begins July 5th in Morocco.
South Africa, Mali, and Tanzania are Ghana’s Group C opponents.
