‘It’s an insult’ – Paul Scholes takes aim at Mikel Arteta and Arsenal star for tactic against Nottingham Forest

Paul Scholes has taken exception to Oleksandr Zinchenko pushing up to join Arsenal’s midfield, telling the full-back to ‘get the f**k out there’ back into his regular position.

The Ukraine international was part of the Arsenal side that secured a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night, grabbing an assist for Gabriel Jesus’ opener as the Gunners moved back into second place in the Premier League.

While Zinchenko started in his regular left-back role, Mikel Arteta encourages him to join the Arsenal midfield while his side were in possession.

While it is a tactic used by a number of Premier League managers, United legend Scholes was having none of it.
