GHALCA Chairman John Ansah announced the August 1st start date for this year’s Top Four tournament.
The annual Top Four competition traditionally heralds the start of each new football season.
This year’s tournament will include Bibiani GoldStars, Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak.
Ansah confirmed the tournament’s start date to Sporty FM after the Ghana Football Association (GFA) gave its approval. He also revealed that they’re working to get a headline sponsor for the event.
“The GHALCA Top Four is set to begin on August 1 after approval from the GFA,” Ansah stated.
“We are actively working to bring in sponsorship for the tournament,” he added.
A venue for this year’s Top Four tournament is yet to be chosen.
