Two significant awards at the 49th SWAG Awards went to Ghanaian high jumper Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah, who shone brightly. 
Her wins for Sports Personality and Female Athlete of the Year solidified the 23-year-old’s place among Ghana’s best athletes.
An awards gala celebrated Ghanaian sports heroes of 2024 on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Accra’s International Conference Centre. 
The SWAG Awards, which span numerous sporting disciplines, is the country’s longest-standing sports awards ceremony. It honors exceptional achievement.

Barcelona B’s Abdul Aziz Issah earned both Prospect of the Year and Male Footballer of the Year awards.
