We are focused on winning the League – Dr. Randy Abbey

Dr. Randy Abbey, owner and financier of Heart of Lions, announced their ambition to win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
Currently, in third place with 54 points, Kpando is three points behind league leaders, and Nations FC has three matches to go.
Representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season is the goal, says a GFA Executive Council member.
“I would want to win the league for the first time and also play in Africa (CAF Champions League),” he told 3Sports.
Although their last four matches included a challenging stretch of three away games and a single home game, Dr. Abbey is proud of his team’s performance.
“We have the most difficult games for all the teams in the title race. Because prior to the last games, we had three away games and only one at home for the four games we had to play. I’m pushing the boys and am proud of what they have achieved so far”.
“Whatever way it ends, if we win the league, I will be the happiest man on earth, but I’m even impressed with what we have done so far, and I’m happy with the team. I think that we can even do better in subsequent seasons,” he added.
Heart of Lions will aim to maintain their Premier League title hopes in their Matchday 32 clash against Young Apostles at Wenchi Sports Stadium this Sunday.
Lions face Bechem United at home, then end their season away to Nations FC.
