The Ghana Football Association has announced the 2024–25 Ghana Premier League season dates.
The opening matches are scheduled for September 6–9, 2024, at all nine Premier League centers.
The season will last 34 weekends and end on Sunday, June 8, 2025. To reduce the travel burden, there won’t be any official midweek matchdays.
These midweek slots will be crucial for clearing outstanding games for clubs participating in the 2024/25 Africa Inter Club Competitions or rescheduled matches, ensuring a fair and competitive season for all.
The league will have a one-week break to ensure players and officials can fulfill their civic duties during the December 7, 2024, National Elections.
Clubs will have enough time to meet CAF’s club licensing requirements for the 2025–26 season by the season’s conclusion on June 8, 2025.
Anticipation is reaching a fever pitch among fans of the Ghana Premier League as they eagerly await the climax of the season, the thrilling Champion of Champions match on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
