Ghanaian fans are hopeful following the release of ticket prices for Ghana’s group stage matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, thanks to FIFA’s USD 60 Supporter Entry Tier.
Ghana’s game tickets are still costly, based on the pricing released. Tickets for the Group L match versus Panama on June 17 start at USD 140 (Category Three), going up to USD 380 and USD 450 for better seats.
The Ghana versus England match on June 23 costs more, with the cheapest ticket priced at USD 220; the final group game versus Croatia on June 27 begins at USD 180.
Attending all three group games would be too expensive for many Ghanaian fans, especially given the costs of travel, accommodation, and transport in North America. The numbers have strengthened worries that many fans won’t be able to afford the tournament.
FIFA’s new Supporter Entry Tier, distributed through Participating Member Associations and only available to fans of qualified nations, may offer a solution. Designed at USD 60 a match, the tier works to increase affordability and reward fan loyalty.
Ghanaian fans’ experience with this depends on the Ghana Football Association’s ticket distribution. If successful, this plan could help more fans see the Black Stars compete against Panama, England, and Croatia at the World Cup.
