FIFA reveals Trophy Tour before Club World Cup

FIFA excitingly announced a trophy tour for the upcoming Club World Cup in the US next summer.
As part of this exciting event, the iconic trophy will tour all 32 qualified clubs across 20 countries, including four Brazilian teams (Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, and Palmeiras).

FIFA President Gianni Infantino emphasized the importance of the event, pointing out that although nations have won world championships and continental cups since 1930, an actual World Cup with the top 32 teams, including four, has not yet taken place to determine the ultimate world club champion.
The announcement was electrifying, featuring football greats like Inter Milan’s Javier Zanetti, River Plate’s Enzo Francescoli, German legend Michael Ballack, and Italian star Francesco Totti.
Thirty-two teams, split into eight groups of four, will compete in the highly-publicized Super World Cup’s round-robin tournament, running June 15th-July 13th. Knockout stage qualification is earned by being among the top two of each group, with all matches single elimination.
In the months before the competition, the trophy will visit each participating club and city as part of its tour. Between January and June, it will be on display for fans to see in person.
