FIFA President Infantino meets US Attorney General and FBI Director

As the USA prepares to host the 2025 Club World Cup and 2026 World Cup, FIFA President Infantino met with Attorney General Bondi and FBI Director Patel in Miami on Wednesday.
All parties agreed to work together to ensure the success of both global competitions, making the meeting highly symbolic and important.
FIFA’s president expressed gratitude towards Attorney General Bondi, FBI Director Patel, their teams, and the 2026 World Cup organizing committee for their collaboration.
“We are all looking forward to working together to ensure that the United States welcomes the world in 2025 and 2026 for a global celebration of football in peace and happiness!

“The first 48-team edition will not only entertain and bring joy to billions worldwide, but it will also provide a significant boost to the economy while leaving a sustainable legacy for young girls and boys in the USA and the other co-hosts, Canada and Mexico.”
