Joseph Paintsil is happy to score tenth MLS goal as LA Galaxy beat Vancouver Whitecaps

Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil is rejoicing in his latest milestone in Major League Soccer. He scored his tenth goal in a league game against Los Angeles Galaxy and Vancouver Whitecaps.
The forward for the Black Stars scored their third goal in the 4-2 win against Whitecaps on Sunday evening after receiving a great pass from Gabriel Pec.
With this strike, his 11th in total, he reaches double figures for the regular season, making it his tenth goal.
“Plus three points. Double digits. Back to winning ways,” wrote the 26-year-old as he celebrated his newest milestone.
Paintsil, who joined the five-time MLS champions in February, has been instrumental in ensuring the Western Conference leaders’ place in the playoffs.
At the Dignity Health Sports Park, LA Galaxy got on the scoreboard with a goal from winger Gabriel Pec before the break in an entertaining encounter.
In the second half, Sebastian Berhalter unintentionally scored a goal for the host team, increasing their lead by two goals, but Brian White later reduced the deficit.
Paintsil restored the advantage, and then Ruqui Puig sealed the game in favor of the Whitecaps.
Despite Sam Adekugbe’s late goal, the deficit was still two goals.
