Nsoatreman FC’s head coach, Yaw Preko, is committed to preventing any goals in their upcoming second-leg match against Elect-Sport FC in the CAF Confederation Cup.
This results from an impressive 3-0 triumph in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Prideful of his team, Coach Preko mentioned the potential for more goals, particularly in the second half.
“I’m very proud. We should have scored more, especially in the second half. We lost a bit of balance, and the substitutions didn’t help. It’s our first [game], and to get three goals here, I’m very proud of the boys. There is more to come,” he remarked.
The coach highlighted the significance of maintaining concentration and not allowing any goals in the second leg to guarantee advancement.
“It’s in the pocket. Just not to concede. That’s all. All we need to do is not to lose focus. We know we have what it takes to hurt them. We have the three goals, and we have to make sure not to concede, and then we see how it goes,” he added.
The match against Chad’s Elect-Sport FC will take place on Saturday, August 24. Nsoatreman FC aims to build on their first-leg win and advance to the next round.
