WORLD CUP 2026: Black Stars arrive in Kansas City for knockout clash with Colombia

Ghana’s Black Stars will travel to Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday for their Round of 32 match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The team will face Colombia on Friday, July 3, in a crucial knockout match as they aim to continue their World Cup campaign.

After advancing from the group stage, head coach Carlos Queiroz granted the squad a day off to recover from the demanding opening round.

Training will resume on Tuesday with morning and evening sessions at Bryant University in Smithfield. The team will hold a final light workout on Wednesday morning before departing for Kansas City.

Ghana advanced to the knockout stage as one of the tournament’s top third-placed teams, finishing Group L with four points, behind England with seven and Croatia with six.
