Asante Kotoko has received a severe warning from Kwara United’s head coach, Sanni Tunde, ahead of the pivotal second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary match.
Nigeria’s Team fought hard but lost the first leg 4-3 to the Porcupine Warriors.
Shola Abdulraheem gave Kwara United a late comeback in the 85th minute, but Kotoko managed to hold on and take a slim lead into the rematch.
After the match, Tunde was optimistic about his Team’s chances and said they would win in Nigeria.
“Our assumption is not what we met. They are a bit luckier today, that’s it. They are a bit luckier, but they are coming to meet us at home,” he said.
Asante Kotoko will face Kwara United on Sunday, September 28, at the M.K.O. Abiola International Stadium in Abuja, as Kwara United tries to win and move on.
