Kotoko seek Morocco comeback with Zito’s 20-man squad

Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, has named a 20-man team for the crucial second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup match against Wydad Athletic Club.
The Porcupine Warriors will travel to Casablanca, aiming to overcome a slim 1-0 loss from last week’s first leg at Accra Sports Stadium.
The visitors scored late, defeating Kotoko, who now face a challenge in the rematch at Mohamed V Stadium on October 24, 2025.

Aziz Haruna Dari and Benjamin Twum will travel after Mohammed Camara’s red card in the first leg.
Karim Zito’s away game record in the CAF Confederation Cup is excellent.
His team’s win against Kwara United has increased his away unbeaten run in the tournament to eight games.
The former Dreams FC coach’s strong away game performances continue, as he seeks to reverse the loss.
Kotoko are now in Morocco, ready to play Wydad Athletic Club in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The return leg is set for Morocco on Friday, October 24, 2025.
